Christmas Card Making Workshops

Light Up Blackfalds

This free event kicks off the holiday season as Tayles Water Spray Park lights up and offers a fun evening for the whole family. Entertainment will feature Christmas carols by the Iron Ridge Junior Campus choir at approx. 6:45, a short speech by our sponsor and a few words from the chair of the Recreation, Culture & Parks Board who will start the countdown starts 7:00 p.m. sharp. Coffee and hot chocolate by donation to the Christmas Bureau will be served up by our local Tim Horton’s. For those who won’t be able to make it, the park lights up every day Mon – Sun 5 p.m. till dawn until early January. The musical portion of the display runs Sunday – Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. and Friday & Saturday 6 – 9 p.m.

Singing, Swinging Christmas

Decorate Sign Night

Come out to Tranquility Greenhouse to decorate a sign. The sign is approximately 24 inches by 16 inches. The staining of the sign and lettering will be done prior to the course. For the course you may choose between a variety of coloured stars, and will be decorating the star with a wide array of different colours of decoration and dried flowers that we have. Everybody will go home with a unique piece of their own. Refreshments included. $105.00 for course, including all materials and refreshments. Check out the link for more details.
